Kala Mahogany Ukulele Stand Out
A primary benefit with this item is its lower price when compared to a solid wooden ukulele stand. It consists of a mahogany veneer that is applied to a foam inlay in order to keep the price point low.
It is versatile and can handle any standard size. Also, assembly is a breeze with no tools necessary. You just simply put one piece into the slot of the other. One of the cons is that it may be a cheaper quality than true solid wood peers and can break easier.
PROS
- Fits all sizes of Uke
- Mahogany finish
- Folds Nicely to fit Gig Bags
- Great Value
CONS
- Not solid wood
Ortega Guitars OWUS-1 Birch Wood Ukulele Stand
Ortega has been producing this dark brown birch variety that is the most expensive option on our list, but probably our favorite. The dark stain used on the Birch wood makes this stand really shine.
The ukulele display stand here has a cradle area that is made to nourish the instrument with a special padding with anti-slip properties to keep it from falling. There are only 4 screws to assemble so that it fits together in minutes.
There has been a bad review about quality that says glue shows and that it tilted oddly.
PROS
- Great Dark Brown Finish
- Multi-Ply Birch construction
- Anti – Slip pads
- Easy Assembly
CONS
- Price might be higher than what you want to spend
Portable Folding Ukulele Stand by Hola!
Hola Music is a great small company that puts out this all-around ukulele display stand that is able to handle violins and a myriad of other small instruments as well. This also has the huge benefit of being one of the least expensive options on our list.
This model from Hola! folds into a flat piece so that it can be carried in instrument bags and such without the need to worry about breaking. It measures out to a mere 8.5 x 3.5 inches when collapsed. There are 5 different colors to choose from and protective silicon pads to cradle and cushion as with other models. One negative is that a baritone ukulele would likely be too big.
PROS
- Very small when folded
- Solid Plastic construction
- Silicon cushion pads for contact points
CONS
- Might be too small for Baritone Ukes
Yolopark Ukulele Stand Folding Portable Wooden Stand

Scratching and other bruises are fought with a nice cradle sectivon to hold the cherished instrument. This Yolopark is easily assembled and portable because of the ability to unfit the two sections in a minute. It has a wood grain that looks good, but some reviews note it to be cheaper in feel as well.
PROS
- 100% Hardwood
- Great Price
- Two Piece Construction
- Anti-Slip Pads
CONS
- Not foldable
Ukulele Stand Buying Guide
Here is a quick buying guide to look at the three factors that we looked for when grading the different options on the market. While we did not add it to the guide, most good stands will have a money-back guarantee or warranty in case you are not pleased with the stand that you ultimately decide on for your possession.
Size
A good stand for the Hawaiian instrument needs to be able to handle the size so that pay special attention if you have a larger version. The best ukulele stands are made for smaller instruments like ukes, violins and fiddles. Guitar stands may work, but will often be too large.
Construction
Pure hardwood will cost more but will also result in a higher quality uke stand. Considering you probably spent a decent chunk of change on your ukulele, there is no reason to skip on a super cheap ukulele stand.
Also, a cradle area and padding can be good to avoid unsightly damage to the piece. Make a comparison of the four aforementioned and you will probably be happy. Some have a money-back guarantee or warranty in case you are not pleased with the stand that you ultimately decide on for your possession.
Portability
Many of the stands we saw had the option to fold or quickly disassemble the stand, and portability is good if moving a lot. If you are headed to a gig where you’re bringing multiple instruments having stands quickly available can be a lifesaver.
